About us
Hello, I’m Jasmin, founder of Natural Connections. I am a proud mother with one daughter and huge animal lover. I grew up in the UK with horses in the family and community. Horses helped me through grief as a child and into adulthood. I have a lifelong admiration for horses, the wisdom they carry, the sentient beings they are and the connection they bring to us when we work together.
I am passionate about sharing this magic and guiding others on their journey to self-discovery and healing through the support of horses and nature.
I have over 15 years’ experience as a Social Worker, supporting children, families and adults with various challenges, including working in family violence and domestic abuse services and Child Protection in the UK and Australia.
Qualifications include:
Degree in Social Work (2012), registered with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).

I focus on creating safe, supportive spaces where individuals can connect with themselves, process trauma, or simply practice presence.
I specialise in supporting victim-survivors of family violence and domestic abuse, and draw upon a range of therapeutic approaches in the work, tailoring approaches to meet the unique needs of each individual. Working alongside me are two rescue Brumby horses, incorporating their presence, calming nature and wisdom into the therapeutic process.
Brindabella
A Brumby from Brindabella Park rescued by Broadford Mountain Brumby Sanctuary.
Beautiful sweet Brindabella, the most intuitive calm natured pony who has a way of connecting with everyone.
Phoenix
Brindabella’s baby, born at Broadford Mountain Brumby Sanctuary October 2023.
Phoenix is playful, mischievous and loves a scratch. He can be seen running around playing with a bucket balancing on his head.
